the art of fay helfer
Fay Helfer is one our favorite local artists whom we've been fortunate to work with. In addition to fulfilling her framing needs, we collaborated to present her work in exhibition at our storefront gallery.
Fay Helfer is originally from St. Martin/Maarten and holds an MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Inspired by nature and nonsense, her work embraces a spirit of randomness and ‘why not?’ with science, humour and pop culture influences. She can now be found creating in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
Also known as wood burning, pyrography means “writing with fire”. It‘s the art of marking wood or other materials with a heated point.
