Our Work for the defensive rookie of the year, MARCUS PETERS

One of our most beloved framing projects has been for Oakland’s very own Marcus Peters. As a West Oakland native, we knew that he and his mother chose the perfect frame shop to get these orders done right!  Many of the pieces we did are to commemorate an astonishingly rare season, not just for Marcus, but for any athlete…

Peters received multiple honors for his rookie season. He was one of three rookies named to the 2016 Pro Bowl. He also was named 2nd Team All-Pro. He won several awards including AFC Defensive Rookie of month for December and AP Defensive Rookie of the Year, he also was a finalist for the Pepsi Rookie of the Year award. Peters is the 4th Chiefs player to win defensive rookie of the year joining Dale Carter, Bill Maas, and Pro Football Hall of Famer Derrick Thomas.”
